CHILDBIRTH EDUCATION/
LAMAZE

Preparing for the birth of your child is an invaluable experience.  Being informed and understanding the process of labor and
childbirth is the key to a beautiful birthing experience. Baby Breaths is not your typical hospital lamaze class. Classes are taught in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere of a yoga studio.  The focus is on educating you on all of your childbirth options and empowering you with the relaxation techniques and tools you will need during your labor and delivery.  Baby Breaths recognizes and respects that there are many ways of birthing and I support each woman's right to choose what will suit her needs best. These classes are still a must have even if an epidural is your plan.  The longest stage of your labor is before an epidural is appropriate and understanding the whole process is key to a beautiful birth!  Being a labor and delivery nurse for over 12 years helps me give you first hand knowledge of what to expect with a hospital birth and help you get the most from your experience.  My Goal is to give you and your coach:
-Confidence and support
-Alleviate your fears and concerns
-Fill your "bag" with all the tools and tricks you will need for your labor and delivery
-Mentally and physically prepare you to have a  positive and beautiful birth experience!
